Comic Market 107: Information for International Participants
Comic Market 107 (C107) is scheduled for December 30-31, 2025 at the Tokyo Big Sight.
Comic Market 108 (C108) is scheduled for August 15-16, 2026 at the Tokyo Big Sight.
Genres and circles completely change every day. A list of genres by day will be made available closer to the event.

How to enter
All participants are required to purchase a wristband or a ticket that can be exchanged to a wristband. On-site sales will be limited to PM Entry wristbands that can only enter after 12:30 with long waiting times. Other types of tickets/wristbands need to be pre-purchased. There will be no possibility to enter free of charge.

Early Entry ticket : Will be first to enter when the event starts at 10:30. This is to prevent people from waiting overnight near the venue trying to queue up early (this was always forbidden and is a serious safety and neighborhood issue endangering the continuing of the event). They will be sold via TicketPay in a lottery system. Must be issued under each participant’s own name to prevent scalpers (a matching ID might be checked). Lottery application period: November 11 - December 1

Cosplay Changing Room Early Entry ticket: Allows entry into the Changing Rooms before the opening of the event. However, Cosplayers are not allowed to leave the Changing Room and Cosplay Area until 11:00. Also sold via TicketPay in a lottery system. Must be issued under each participant’s own name to prevent scalpers (a matching ID might be checked) Lottery application period: November 11 - December 1

AM Entry wristband: Can queue on the line that will start entering at 11:00 after the Early Entry queue. The wristband will be sold via Japanese anime shops and their e-commerce sites while inventory lasts (no lottery but limited numbers). International participants unable to visit stores can use eplus to buy a e-ticket that can be exchanged to a wristband on-site (numbers might be limited due to capacity reasons, first-come-first-serve). Sale start on December 6

PM Entry wristband: Can enter the venue after 12:30. Will be sold at anime shops in Japan as long as inventory lasts at each shop, and on-site on each day after 12:30. Since long waiting lines are expected, please try to purchase one beforehand. Sale start on December 6
One child (15 years or younger) can enter for free together with one adult holding a ticket/wristband.

Cosplay participation
Everybody can use the Cosplay Changing Rooms after entering the event.
- A registration fee is necessary when entering a Cosplay Changing Room
- Coming and going from/to your home, hotel, etc. in Cosplay is not allowed. We might deny entry to the event if you arrive in Cosplay.
- Changing in the toilets is strictly not allowed.

Circle participation
The application period for circle participation at Comic Market 107 has already been closed. Application for Comic Market 108 (Summer 2025) is planned to be held in early 2026.

- Only individuals are allowed to participate as a circle. Corporations and other organizations should participate as a corporate booth, not as circle participant. Only self-published works can be distributed.
- Circle participants must be able to understand Japanese and follow all written communication including the application form, manuals, the official website, and other materials issued by the Comic Market Committee avaiable only in Japanese.
- Circle applicants must be old enough to have completed compulsory education at the time of application, be able to be contacted by telephone in Japan in Japanese and have an address in Japan where mail can be received.
- Circle participants on the day of Comic Market must include someone who can communicate in Japanese.
Corporate Area participation
The application period for the Corporate Area for Comic Market 107 has already been closed. Please see the Corporate Participation page in Japanese
- Overseas companies must apply through a Japanese company acting as agent.
Registration as Press/Media
On-line Registration is required for any press or media activities at Comic Market. Registration starts around 1 month before the event with a deadline a few days before the event itself. Any later registration will require longer on-site check-in and entry might be denied in case of attendance by an overly large number of press.
Private persons running a blog or privately streaming video (e.g. Youtubers, TikTokers), or filming/photographing for non-commercial purposes (e.g. for hobby or academic purposes) cannot register as press.
